Public Holidays: here at WDYC we are closed on ALL major public holidays (Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Labour Day, Ekka Wednesday, King’s Birthday). If your child’s class falls on a public holiday this will be automatically deducted from your term’s invoice. Please see our Policies and Procedures page for more information.

Testing Week: please note, we offer x1 testing week each term. Should your child miss their lesson they can do a make up in the SAME week and be tested. However, if you miss testing week entirely unfortunately we do not have the capacity to re-test your child. Please see our Policies and Procedures page for more information on testing. Testing criteria and standards can be located on our Develop Page.

Holiday Closure: over each Queensland State School Holiday our Develop Program is closed. We do however, offer Holiday Program events for all children in primary school. Please visit our Events Tab > Holiday Program, for more information on our upcoming Holiday Programs.

Winter/Summer Carnival: During term 2 and term 4 each year our Bardon based Develop Recreational Program is offered to come along to an In house Carnival Event. This is a fantastic opportunity for gymnasts to show off their routines and skills to their families and friends! All gymnast get a certificate with routine testing, a trophy and special treat. We have our Canteen and BBQ available for refreshments on the day.

Winter/Summer Showcase: During term 2 and term 4 each year our Enoggera based Develop Recreational Program (including our recreational Tumbling, Acrobatics and Free G) is offered to come along to an In house Showcase Event. This is a fantastic opportunity for gymnasts to show off their routines and skills to their families and friends! All gymnast get a certificate with routine testing, a trophy and special treat. We have a BBQ available for refreshments on the day.

Theme Weeks: as a fun way to celebrate each term of gymnastics, in our final week of each term, we create “theme weeks”. We encourage all gymnasts to come dressed up in their favourite themed attire (safety permitting). Types of theme weeks we have done in the past: Superhero, Under the sea, Easter, Christmas, Animals, Disney characters.
