Nurture Program Calendar

Public Holidays: here at WDYC we are closed on ALL major public holidays (Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Labour Day, Ekka Wednesday, King’s Birthday). If your child’s class falls on a public holiday this will be automatically deducted from your term’s invoice. Please see our Policies and Procedures page for more information.

School Holiday Closure: over the Queensland State School Holidays our Nurture (Kinder) Program classes do not run. Please see our Policies and Procedures page for more information.

Theme Weeks: as a fun way to celebrate each term of gymnastics, in our final week of each term, we create “theme weeks”. We encourage all gymnasts to come dressed up in their favourite themed attire (safety permitting). Types of theme weeks we have done in the past: superhero, under the sea, Easter, Christmas, animals, Disney characters.

Certificate Week: in term 2 each year we celebrate the massive milestones all Nurture (Kinder) gymnasts make through our certificate week. Each child is awarded their merit certificate at the conclusion of their class.

Trophy Week: in term 4 each year we celebrate the major milestones the Nurture (Kinder) gymnasts make throughout the year through our Trophy Week. At the end of term 4 all gymnasts enrolled in the program will receive a Trophy of achievement for that calendar year.
