Acrobatic Gymnastics is an exciting and thrilling sport to watch and participate in. Acrobatic Gymnastics is a team-based sport, incorporating balancing, aerial and tumbling skills within a choreographed routine. Acrobatics can help your child grow their: confidence, co-ordination, strength, resilience, flexibility and team work. Gymnasts will focus on creating and performing two types of routines including: x1 dynamic routine and x 1 balance routine. Acrobatic Groups use their partner’s hands, feet, shoulders or head to perform balance skills, such as handstands, or dynamic skills such as somersaults.

Dynamic Routines

A Dynamic Acrobatic routine is a high-flying performance characterised by throws, catches, somersaults, and tumbling, set to music and showcasing synchronised teamwork.  

Balance Routines

A Balance Acrobatic routine emphasises strength, stability and controlled elements. Done with precision and poise.

Open Acro

This class is our recreational acrobatic class for boys and girls looking to start out in the program or who would like a fun and engaging program where they can work within a team. This class is open to gymnasts of all school ages and abilities.

Foundation Acro

Foundation Acro is our pre-squad class, for boys and girls who are showing potential and have been selected by the team leader to begin their journey into competitive acrobatics. Gymnasts will focus on learning acrobatic, tumbling, and dance basics in preparation for a competitive squad (if a suitable partnership is available). Team leaders and coaches will determine if and when a gymnast may be ready to progress.

Competitive squads

Our Competitive Acrobatic Squad classes follow the Queensland Stages Program (QSP) for Levels 1-5 and then we follow the Australian Levels Program (ALP) for Levels 6+. These competitive groups are strictly by selection only as acrobatics is a team sport we need to ensure we groups gymnasts with an appropriate group for their age, height and ability.

Open Acrobatics


This class is our recreational acrobatic class for Boys and Girl gymnasts looking to learn about acrobatic gymnastics, build their skills sets and would like a fun and engaging program where they can work within a team. In this class gymnast will focus on developing their strength, flexibility, co-ordination, tumbling, team work and acrobatic elements. Acrobatic elements will include individual skills and partner or trio work.

Open Acrobatics is open to gymnasts of all school ages and we welcome all abilities.

Class Information:

  • x1 lesson per week

  • 1.5 hours per class

Boys Acrobatics & tumbling 


This class is our boys acrobatic and tumbling class. Designed for boys who are looking to learn about acrobatic gymnastics and tumbling, while working as a team. In this class gymnast will focus on developing their strength, flexibility, co-ordination, tumbling on trampoline/and air tracks, team work and acrobatic elements. Acrobatic elements will include individual skills and partner or trio work.

Boys acrobatics and tumbling class is perfect for a child who wants to learn some tricks and flips. This class is open to boys of school aged.

Class Information:

  • x1 lesson per week

  • 1.5 hour class

  • Saturday morning.

Foundation Acrobatics  


Foundation Acro is our pre-squad class, for boys and girls who are showing potential and have been selected by the team leader to begin their journey into competitive acrobatics. Competitive Acrobatic Squads 


Our Competitive Acrobatic Squad classes follow the Queensland Stages Program (QSP) for Levels 1-5 and then we follow the Australian Levels Program (ALP) for Levels 6+. Gymnast perform a range of routines that combine artistic choreography, dynamic throws/saultos, balance skills and tumbling. These competitive groups are strictly by selection only as acrobatics is a team sport we need to ensure we groups gymnasts with an appropriate group for their age, height and ability. Gymnasts moving through out competitive squad program will be focusing on developing their competitive ability and in higher levels (level 6+) focus on state team selections.

Types of acrobatic partnerships/trios:

  • Level 1-3: mixture of boys and girls

    • Pairs: top and a base

    • Trios: one top and two bases

  • Stage 2 and Level 6+

    • Women’s Pair: top and a base

    • Men’s Pair: top and a base

    • Mixed Pair: female top and male base

    • Women’s Trio: top, middle and a base

    • Men’s Four: top, two middle and a base

Class Information:

  • Please contact out Team Leader for specific class availability and commitment.

  • Commitment can range from 2.5 to 13 hours per week (across multiple sessions)

Important Note:

For families considering a competitive pathway for their child in acrobatics we would like you to be mindful there is a high level of commitment to the sport due to the team nature. Our flexibility with timetabling is limited in this space.

Bookings and team leader selection is essential for these class.
